Sustainable Homes
Improve comfort and efficiency with home energy solutions designed to lower costs and make everyday living more sustainable.
What is Sustainable Homes?
Sustainable Homes helps Minneapolis homeowners identify and complete practical home energy upgrades that can improve comfort, increase efficiency, reduce energy use, and lower utility costs. The program starts with a detailed home energy assessment, a review of your past utility usage, and an evaluation of available rebates and incentives. From there, CEF recommends upgrades such as efficient heating and cooling equipment, insulation, air sealing, and efficient water heaters — then connects you with pre-vetted contractors and manages the upgrade process from start to finish.
How To Enroll
Our Home Energy Assessment is the first step toward understanding how your home uses energy and where there may be opportunities to improve comfort, efficiency, and energy costs.
